Can anyone give me some suggestions for glute activation exercises?

Drop lunges? Though you must be activating glutes by doing your movement prep?

Thanks. Will try to add some of that to my Tues and Thurs postural/flexibility days.

Dunno about reading Core Performance again... last time I read it I fell down an escalator and cut my fist open.

Yeah, but I've been noticing that my right glute doesn't fire properly during Scorpions (well, neither of them do really but the right one is especially bad). Movement prep hasn't seemed to help it so was wondering what else I can do.

My right one is fine but my left one doesnt ssem to fire properly, dunno why!

Anyhoo iv found visciously stretching my hip flexors, doing bird dogs, one legged supine bridges and really focusing on squeezing the weak glute during the warm-ups helped a ton.

I only used to get DOMs from pull throughs and split squats in the right ass cheek coz the left wouldnt fire properly now there evened out, usually can tell its lags behind a little just on how much i can contract the left vs right while just standing.
