I am an amuter photogapher and really want a good quality camera that is both versitile and practical. Both are in my price range, so which one to go for???

I'm not a digi cam geek, nor have I read the specifications, but the silver ones looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cooler.

Screw that. The only thing the Nikkon has on the Fuji is the build quality.

Anyways, just found the Fuji for £230 - which is a full £50 cheaper than in Dixons in Chester. So I could buy another 256MB of memory with the difference!!!

You wanna go Nikon all the way. I studied photo for years in college and have used Nikon's for the last 15 years. Currently have the D70 and no complaints. Quality product, built to last.

hmm ... here in the u.s. pink is for gays. I'll have to check local regulations if I ever travel abroad.

I brought my digi cam off ebay (buy now option). Take a look (search for a specific model to compare prices). I gaurantee you will get it cheaper :019:

Ebuyer.com, comet and dabs are all excellent options to buy from, dixons and currys charge top $$$$

I am going to break the habbit of buying Nikons and go with the Fuji I think. For £10 you can extend the warrenty for another 2 years.

but kodak win, with price, and better lens {schneider-kreuznach}
all other its the same like fuji 4 mp, 10x op zoom, display, card.
