Has anyone here done yoga my lass have just got a dvd to do, do you lot think it would help me lifting?

Well you'd better find a good class with a good teacher,then when you get better then you can start doing it on your own

Well its a beginners dvd so it should be ok

do a class, no dvd is going to be as good

Yes, Yes, Yes! YOGA will help with your lifting! Yoga rules! As suggested above find a good instructor as technique is paramount with Yoga. Sometimes just a small tweak is needed to get you in exactly the right position. It's impossible to check your own positioning if you are new to it. As you progress, you will be able to use your own body awareness and know and feel if you are positioned correctly. It is at this stage you can follow a DVD safely and effectively.
