What's your favourite foods?

I like home made chinese (not the watery stuff you buy in chinese takeaways)

But I love Indian takeaways, you won't believe the amout of oil they cook this stuff in.

Make the Gravy
They boil a load of oinions and spices with plenty of oil, this mixture turns green, then they blend it up to make an onion gravy and add a chopped tomatoes (blended too). It's now light brown.This forms the basic sauce for all the dishes

Cook the Chicken
They take a bit of the onion gravy and fry it with more oil and add the chicken pieces, cover and simmer it, till the chicken is cooked.

Make Final Dish
When they get an order they add more oil to the pan, fry a portion of sauce, add the chicken and then add the spices relative to that dish, et viola a takeaway indians, good eh.

Tomorrows lesson will be, corn bread.

I cannot BELIEVE you live in the middle east and have never tried it, are you in cairo? get your ass down to Felfella and try it, it's a paste, made with tahini and roasted aubergine and shit, ****ing orgasmic

Man, everything is my favourite food... Currrent favourite curry is lamb ceylon (hot, thick and coconutty), favourite chinese - crispy duck pancakes and satay chicken, plus chilli, fajitas, spag bol, lasagne, deep-pan pizza, steak, mixed grill, full english, roast lamb, traditional christmas dinner, BLTs, chip-shop chips... The list goes on. I know why I'm fat.

i am in cairo indeedy. will find this felfella joint, i think as its the first time i will be trying it i'll have it without the shit :)
