http://www.gymworld.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=535 I decided to get one of these today, for the mrs and for me, i am only planning on doing 2 x30min session pw atm, the mrs shall be doing 3x30 and 2x weights, good kit got very good reviews and stuff plus very good warranties/ features and can handle my weight, goes forwards and backwards and has adjustable foot plates. Admitidly i only wanted to spend about £300 but yknw its all good :018:

Well its arrived and is built, was pretty hard to build on my own, but its done , top resistance is harder than the x trainers ive used in the past, so i wont be going nuts with that, good bye fat!
i thought you had given up cycling to save money :021: :028:

i have as we are talking £2000 a year in parts and shit i dont really need, im not short on cash yknow just tight and like to get return fr my investment, also the mrs will use this lots too, but also tbh the real reason is cycling takes too long, a 3 hour ride plus wives meeting is basically a whole sunday afternoon that i would rather spend with my kid, and they kept brining newbs along who couldnt ride for shit, i generally wear shorts all year round when i ride and depend on keeping going to keep warm, so when some tosser turns up unnanounced who dies within 10 mins i freeze waiting for them, we used to ride at a high level and unless you are up there you shouldnt come along,if i had a mate who wanted to try it i would go out with just me and them in the week and put more layers on to allow for breaks, its like anything you wouldnt go into an advanced yoga class as a newb, youd look a tit and ruin it for the others.
I partly think the newb brining was done on purpose by some of the older guys who although being more skilled and faster downhill hadnt got the strength or stamina i had, so they tried to slow the pace down instead
