For example 1fast400 sell Dicana for $47.99 pre shipping, this is approx 30 dollars, I sell Dicana for £34.99 with free shipping(works out alot less if you buy the fat attack stack). I will ship it to you next working day in almost all cases, 2 working days tops. 1fast charge say £10(a very conservative estimate) for 3-5day shipping. So £30+£10 is £40 now UK duties for gelatine capsulated products are 12.8% on the price plus shipping and insurance(we will ignore insurance for this example) is an extra £5.12, and the product is VATable at 17.5% another £7, plus the charge from your carrier for handling the VAT and customs duties, say £5(more likely £10) so that is 30+10+5.12+7+5=£57.12.
So for an inital saving of £4.99 you cost yourself an extra £22.13 and got the product up to 4 days later.
