Holy mackerel! Ok, so that was odd. Band tension almost lifting off the 55 kilo dumbells, had to anchor them with 20 plates so they didnt move. Interesting when I took out just the bar, cause there was no weight I got a bit of a wobble then the bands took over, it was like I was getting electroshock! Racked it and put some weight on! At top set I estimate 120 at bottom, over 200 at top.
Ran out of steam towards end of floor press.
Standing row - facing cable stack at elbow height. One hand.
Chuck V pulldowns - V handle, walk away from lat pulldown, pull to abs.

Oh, would have got vids but dropped my camera on the way in and now it doesnt work.

Equipped Deads (44 Centurion): 60/3, 100/1, 140/1, 185/1, 225/1, 255/1, 275/F/1.
Front Squats: 80/6. Aborted cause could hardly walk.

Meant to be raw but I realised if I didnt try equipped this week I'd have no idea what to try on openers day etc.
Blood pressure when at the bar was immense! Everything up to and including 255 flew up, 275 drifted away from me. Sat down for 5 minutes, thought over the lift, did my belt up a notch looser so I could use my abs ( ;) ), then got it. Was slow after the knees, need to think glutes and work with the bands.

Short story of the rest of the workout.....was ****ed, went home.

Anyway, any and all equipment takes time to learn, also getting into the tighter gear is an art you have to learn. It also shifts weak points around so you need to train for that.

I like the post-workout nutrition. It's a similar theory to mine, except I'd probably opt for Stella over the Carling (gives more bang for the buck). Good stuff.

Took off bands, 100/3.
Another day I didn't feel like training.

Will not list warmups again, I do them every time.

Failed with only <130 on the chest, band tension kicked in so quickly it ****ed me up. Need to get more sleep, think that's why the past couple of days have been crap. Slightly worried nevertheless.

Either deadlift day or DE bench, noticed it tuesday night. I am now thinking teres major, as adduction and internal rotation hurt a bit and the bruise/bleeding seems to be right at the attatchment. Here's a pic, shot from in front of the body with my arm out (shoulder is on right)

Ok, so got in the smaller suit in only 20 minutes with Damo's help.
Not much use really, since I cant get anywhere NEAR depth with 280. Collapsed a bit in the bottom so came up before it went very wrong, but didn't feel too bad. Course things might change if I was at parallel with it!

Going to try the 44 next week and see. I want to get parallel with 250 and use that as an opener.

They were pretty much all box squats without a box. I was just sitting back into the suit (especially with the lower weights) seeing if I'd go any further down, then when I didn't, squatting it back up. Insane.

Based on the I'd need over 300 kilos to get anywhere near! I was unstable as hell under 280, so I think that's out for now.

Thoughts:

- bring box down an inch or two for DE work
- rehab elbows (rep work twice a week pyramiding down to low reps when healthy)
- work more in suit closer to comps
- rack pulls just to check it wasn't a real grip problem
- usual, more hams, more abs, get stronger.

Nah, if I press heavy I can't lift my arm for the rest of the day and it hurts for a few days after.

I'll have a proper rest then rehab the tendonitis, and hopefully the knee problem will go away on its own :012:

Did 5 on last set cause three was easy and couldn't be arsed putting more than 5 plates on the bar, then took some reps to hopefully reduce soreness....
.....blah blah blah IPF, usual shit that means "I actually went low enough on most of my reps today"

Sumo deads in same: 100/2, 140/2, 180/2, 220/2, 240/1.

gave up cause bar was bent and had blown my load squatting

Pulldown Abs: 42/10, 56/8/8

These briefs rule. More support than my suit with none of the "**** I CAN'T BREATHE!" effect you get in the suit if you go over 1 rep with the straps up.

Knee feeling ok.

It says custom not customised. IE: I measured myself, they made briefs based on those measurements, not the closest fit based on the three which is what all off the shelf stuff is.

I am coming to the conclusion I can probably squat 275 now if I get my shit together, pisses me off I only posted 240 at the comp when I got an easy 260 the week before (and just did 220x5 with no suit or wraps).... but next time!!!
